CIVIC
a) Accelerating accession progress, as outlined in EU documents
b) Strengthening the Rule of Law
c) Promoting increased cooperation in the economy and social cohesion between EU countries and Western Balkan states
By focusing on the development of civic competences, particularly through joint initiatives involving young people from both the EU and the Western Balkans countries, we can contribute significantly to the region's progress.
Our proposed curriculum addresses various aspects of civic competencies, including:
• Understanding civic participation in the public sphere
• Emphasizing the importance of the rule of law
• Promoting cooperation and social cohesion through economic partnerships
• Encouraging active engagement in social and political processes
Expected results:
• Enhanced understanding of the learners about the topic of active citizenship.
• Academic and administrative staff of HEIs with increased sensitivity to equality and resilience towards their peers and their learners.
• Improved skills of learners of intercultural dialogue and mutual respect.
• Material designed and delivered for the online courses for students.
• An innovative mechanism has been developed for the qualitative and quantitative assessment of the virtual exchange.
