S-DYJ

From February 5th to 7th in Tirana, Albania, partners from Italy, Latvia, Montenegro, Albania, Serbia, and representatives from BRAVO met to wrap up activities of the project “Sharing Design Your Job” (SDYJ). This initiative, which began with its implementation in March 2022 with a meeting in Sarajevo, aimed to create and test new ICT education programs and methodologies suitable for the systematic pre-qualification and re-training of unemployed or marginalized young people. This edition marked a continuation of the “Design Your Job” (DYJ) initiative, under which four projects had already been developed.

We are delighted to share the success of our recent conference, “IT AND AI SKILLS – THE MOST IN-DEMAND SKILLS FOR FUTURE EMPLOYMENT” held in Riga, Latvia on 26th January. The event brought together an assembly of distinguished professionals and enthusiasts from Latvia and around Europe, converging to explore the transformative potential of AI and IT technologies in shaping the future job landscape.

„Sharing Design Your Job“ is a project supported by European Union through the ERASMUS+ program. The project’s main objective is enhancing developed ICT educational programs and create complementarity with the needs of the labor market through increasing the capacities of partners and the project target group. The aim of the conference is to address the adequacy of current formal education in providing practical IT skills

The 4th Transnational Project Meeting of the “Sharing Design Your Job” project recently took place in Riga, Latvia. The meeting involved representatives from partner organizations in Serbia, Italy, Montenegro, Albania, and Latvia, including the director of BRAVO. The purpose of the meeting was to evaluate the progress of the project thus far and plan for upcoming events, with a particular focus on an upcoming conference in Riga in January 2024

As we already mentioned we will bring more workshops regarding IT skills. So here we are, another workshop was held under the project “Sharing Design Your Job” by Bosnian participants of the training course “Basic UX Design”.

Recalling our last training course, from 5.3. until 13.3, we had the opportunity to host 20 young people from six countries, who learned about Basic UX design. During the training course, they learned about user personas, user journeys, user flows, etc. However, their learning journey hasn’t finished after the end of the training course.

“Sharing Design Your Job” project is a continuation of the “Design Your Job” (DYJ) initiative under which is developed 4 projects already. Three of them were financed by EACEA and one by Serbian NA. All projects under the “DYJ” initiative follow and contribute to the overall objective of

“Creating and testing new ICT education programs and methodologies suitable for systematic prequalification and re-training of unemployed or marginalized young people”.
