Open Call for 8 Participants for Training Course in Tirana, Albania

The Visual Thinking 4 You(th) project, has the general objective of promoting the social inclusion of dyslexic young people between 13 and 19 years old, through visual thinking, which consists in transmitting and exposing ideas through simple and easily recognizable images. The objective of this method is to improve the learner’s learning level by allowing him, through the use of images, to better understand ideas, define objectives, identify problems and generate new concepts and it is particularly effective for those who have cognitive peculiarities such as dyslexic people.

“Fashion industry and the Importance of Upcycling”

Upcycling is the transformative process of turning waste materials, unwanted products, or by-products into new, higher-value items. Unlike traditional recycling, which often involves breaking down materials into their basic components for the creation of new products, the term “upcycling” was coined in 1994 by German engineer Reiner Pliz who explains in the British monthly magazine “Salvo,” “I call recycling down-cycling. What we need is up-cycling, thanks to which old products are given a higher, not a lower, value.”

“From trash to art by IDEA”

In an effort to mitigate the adverse effects of the global overproduction and overconsumption of manufactured products, more and more local initiatives of sustainability and circular economy are emerging. Such endeavors are also meant to foster a better social inclusion of individuals engaging in these enterprises. In the broad context of the present-day environmental crisis, art can be used as a means to draw attention towards the risks of depleting our resources of raw materials in an unsustainable way.

Open call for 6 participants for Youth Exchange in Sarajevo, B&H

This project seeks to create citizen mobilization and inter-European links through participatory activities to develop relations between truly cosmopolitan cities and European capitals, enjoying the worldwide impact of the Olympic Games and other major visibility milestones, to promote European values and engage citizens in the life of their territory through sport, culture and youth engagement. The relevance of the project is based on important cultural rapprochements between Paris, Sarajevo, Timisoara, Valencia and Gdansk concerning the enrichment of European youth, volunteering, culture, sport, and environmental matters that allow to develop a positive cooperation between the citizens.

Transnational Project Meeting in Antalya – ”Traditional Sport and Games’’

On June 27th, partners from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Lithuania, and Turkey gathered in Antalya for the final transnational meeting of the Erasmus+ project “Developing Academic Educational Tools and Methods of Traditional Sport and Games for Youth.” As the project concludes this year, this meeting marked the last gathering of the involved organizations.

Training of Trainers in Valencia, Spain for „FAST FORWARD“

On the 27th and 28th of June, BRAVO took part in a Training of Trainers session with 12 participants in Valencia, Spain together with AlbanianSkills, Brigaid EU project, Build Green Group and EcoLogic. This training session was held as a part of the Fast Forward project. This project has a goal of equipping trainers with more knowledge and innovative skills in the field of sustainability and enviromental awareness. These forementioned partners have set the objectives for upcoming youth exchange training programs that will be held in Albania, North Macedonia, Kosovo, Spain and last but not least Bosnia and Herzegovina.
