AIDA stands for Artificial Intelligence for Digital Advancement and is an Erasmus+ project seeking to enhance the digital, intercultural, and civic competences of the youth and youth workers by empowering them to critically engage with AI technologies and processes toward digital transformation. The project unites four organizations from Greece, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro, and Italy, which together contribute their specific know-how in youth work, digital skills, scientific education, and intercultural learning.

AIDA creates an integrated, inclusive, and sustainable learning journey structured into four interrelated Work Packages, namely Project Management and Coordination, Research and Development of Online Course, Virtual Youth Exchanges and Training, and Impact and Dissemination. Such activities comprise needs-based research, an interactive online course ("Grow & Go"), training for youth workers, and a series of six virtual exchanges on inclusion, digital transformation, democratic participation, green transition, and innovative methodologies.

In a bigger context, the project creates impact by strengthening youth organizations, fostering European co-operation, and providing learning materials that shall remain accessible and usable after the completion of the project. The communication and dissemination strategy in place will ensure that the results of the project have an impact on the level of policy and practice for youth in local, national, and European contexts. AIDA will promote responsible AI utilization, democratic engagement, sustainable digital practice, and social inclusion, thereby participating in the key priorities of Erasmus+ and the European Union.

AIDA aims to build an inclusive, digitally competent, and democratically aware generation of young Europeans--that will leave a positive and lasting mark across Europe and beyond--by enhancing critical digital literacy and intercultural competence.
