We are pleased to announce the launch of AIDA – AI for All: Empowering Digital Citizens, a new Erasmus+ Virtual Exchanges project co-funded by the European Union.
The project has a duration of 36 months, running from 1 February 2026 to 31 January 2029, and brings together four partner organisations from Greece, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Italy.
AIDA was designed to respond to a concrete challenge affecting young people across Europe and neighbouring countries: they increasingly live, learn and communicate in environments shaped by artificial intelligence, yet their understanding of how AI influences information, bias, privacy, employability and democratic participation remains uneven.
Co-funded by the European Union. Views and opinions expressed are however those of the author(s) only and do not necessarily reflect those of the European Union or the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA). Neither the European Union nor EACEA can be held responsible for them.
The consortium is coordinated by You in Europe (Greece) and includes BRAVO – Bosnian Representative Association for Valuable Opportunities (Bosnia and Herzegovina), PRONA – Montenegrin Science Promotion Foundation (Montenegro), and PiGreco – SEMI di Intercultura APS (Italy).
AIDA is structured around four main activities:
The project’s broader goal is to help build a generation of young people who are more digitally competent, critically aware and able to engage responsibly with AI technologies. In operational terms, AIDA aims to strengthen digital skills, promote inclusion, support employability and foster intercultural understanding through accessible and practice-oriented online learning experiences.
Over the next three years, AIDA will work to produce practical learning materials, strengthen cooperation among partner organisations and promote responsible, ethical and inclusive approaches to digital transformation. The project is intended not only to support participants during implementation, but also to produce tools, methods and resources that remain usable beyond the end of the funding period.
