BRAVO BiH

On 7 and 8 October 2026, representatives of all Youth4Values partner organisations gathered in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain, for a two-day Transnational Project Meeting.

Bringing together BRAVO from Bosnia and Herzegovina, PRONA from Montenegro, You in Europe from Greece, and Mojo de Caña from Spain, the meeting focused on reviewing project achievements, addressing outstanding tasks and exploring how the project’s impact can continue beyond its funding period.

First Day

The first day was dedicated to a comprehensive review of the work completed so far. Partners presented the activities implemented in their countries and the results achieved, examining progress against the project’s deliverables and milestones. This joint review provided an opportunity to connect the different parts of Youth4Values and reflect on their contribution to strengthening active citizenship, democratic values and youth participation.

Partners also discussed the activities and outputs that still need to be finalised. Reviewing outstanding tasks together created space for questions, feedback and practical coordination, helping build a shared understanding of the work ahead.

An important part of the meeting concerned the long-term sustainability of Youth4Values. Partners discussed the Think Tank as a way to keep the project’s ideas, connections and results active after the funding period ends. The discussion looked beyond completing project outputs to consider how the knowledge and cooperation developed through Youth4Values could continue supporting young people and their communities.

Building on the project’s research, National Action Plans and community activities, such a platform could provide space for continued exchange between young people, youth organisations and other stakeholders. It could help keep youth recommendations visible, support further discussion of democratic participation and encourage partners to develop new initiatives together. In this way, the Think Tank offers a potential bridge between the work carried out during the project and future cooperation grounded in its results.

Alongside the working sessions, a shared lunch gave partners an opportunity to continue their conversations in a more informal setting. These moments strengthened the personal connections that support collaboration across countries and organisations.

Second Day

The second day continued with project discussions and exchanges, allowing partners to explore ongoing matters further and share perspectives on the next steps. Intercultural dialogue was also an important part of the day, extending the exchange beyond the formal meeting sessions.

Exploring Las Palmas de Gran Canaria together offered an opportunity to discover the city and learn more about the local cultural context. Spending time in a shared setting encouraged conversations about the partners’ different backgrounds, experiences and approaches to youth work, strengthening mutual understanding within the consortium.

For BRAVO, the meeting was a valuable opportunity to review progress with the full partnership and contribute to discussions about the future of Youth4Values. The two days combined practical coordination with a wider reflection on how to sustain the project’s contribution to democratic participation.

The meeting reinforced a shared ambition: to ensure that the results, relationships and opportunities created through Youth4Values continue to benefit young people beyond the project’s funded lifetime.
