BRAVO BiH

As part of the inspiring Nurture – Nurturing the world can be a job project, a dynamic networking event between young people and local NGOs was held in Vitez, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The event brought together motivated youth and passionate representatives of civil society organizations, creating a space for connection, learning, and opportunity.

The Nurture project aims to strengthen the capacity of NGOs across the Western Balkans and support young people, especially those with fewer opportunities, in discovering meaningful career paths. One of its core goals is to promote the NGO sector as a viable and impactful employer.

During the event in Vitez, young participants had the chance to engage directly with two inspiring local organizations: BZK “Preporod” and the Center for Youth Education. Representatives from both NGOs presented their missions, current projects, and opportunities for youth involvement, volunteering, and potential career paths within the nonprofit world.

For many young attendees, this was the first time they considered the NGO sector as a possible workplace, one where purpose meets profession. The event encouraged open dialogue, sparked curiosity, and planted the seeds of future collaboration.

This networking event is just one of many activities under the Nurture project, which continues to create bridges between youth and the NGO sector throughout the Western Balkans. Through such initiatives, the project hopes to inspire a new generation of changemakers ready to shape their communities and the world with empathy, purpose, and action.
