BRAVO BiH

This was my first experience with the BRAVO organization, and I am beyond grateful. I cannot imagine I would have otherwise had the chance to visit Armenia, experience its beauty, and engage with a highly relevant topic.

The workshop provided valuable insights into distinguishing real from AI-generated content, misinformation, media ethics, and related areas. Studying clinical psychology, what I appreciated most was that participants did not need prior expertise to contribute meaningfully.

All activities were beginner-friendly, and we never lacked the support from mentors and fellow participants.

The program was also diverse, combining theory and practice through podcast creation, filmmaking, video editing, discussions on media narratives, and collaborative group work. Participants were not by-standers.

Additionally, we got to explore Armenia through two organized excursions, which was a thoughtful gesture from the hosts. The most valuable takeaway for me was a deeper understanding of how AI and social media influence human behavior, particularly as a psychology student reflecting on why people choose digital tools for comfort and connection and how empathy and understanding are essential when addressing these choices.  I extend my gratitude to the BRAVO organization in BiH, Future in Our Hands in Armenia, and Erasmus+ for connecting us all. – Teodora Popović

Participating in the SMARTY Training Course in Abovyan, Armenia has been a very interesting experience for me. The project brought together a diverse group of individuals and also created an environment for learning and cultural exchange.

The core theme of the project (AI in Media) resonated with my personal and professional goals and met my expectations. The project allowed me to step out of my usual routine via interactive workshops and collaborative sessions. During the training course and sessions I gained new perspectives that I can directly apply in my future initiative.

Beyond the formal educational aspect, what left the biggest impression on me was the genuine connection formed with people from different backgrounds. Engaging in discussions, sharing our unique stories and working together on common challenges made it much more interesting.

❝  The organisation was on point, staff was really friendly and ready to help with pretty much everything. Besides sessions and workshops, they were really open for conversations during breaks and time not used for sessions and workshops.

I would like to say a big Thank You! To the BRAVO organisation for making the onboarding and communication both easy and professional. The Coordinator was always ready to help and communicate all necessary information before, during and after the project.

This project boosted my confidence to engage more actively in international networking. I am returning home to Bosnia and Herzegovina with some new knowledge, wonderful memories and a fantastic group of friends. Nedim Karavdić
