Project Youth4Values supports active citizenship and political participation of youth in partner countries, coming from 3 different European regions. As well as, the project will foster the development of social and intercultural competencies, critical thinking, and soft and transversal skills. The focus will be on raising awareness of and understanding the European Union context, European identity, and the importance of active participation in decision-making processes at the local level, especially among youngsters.
This Youth Exchange aims to equip participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to understand the importance of active citizenship and political participation and to explain democracy as a core value of our society which each individual is equally important, and in which each individual has an equal balance between rights and obligations. This mobility will focus on the explanation and research of key principles of representative democracy, and the European Convention on Human Rights. After this Youth Exchange, participants will be able to understand and acknowledge features of “ideal democracy”, such as effective participation, equally in voting, an informed electorate, citizen control of the agenda, inclusion, and fundamental rights.
Bosnian Representative Association for Valuable Opportunities (BRAVO) is a non-profit and non-governmental organization. BRAVO is a professional organization based and focused on knowledge, entrepreneurship, civil society development, non-formal education and innovative learning and development techniques for young people and adults.

We promote partnerships between the private sector, public sector and civil society for sustainable community development, advocating for the education of young people with an emphasis on skills needed in the 21st century, investing in entrepreneurship, innovation, non-formal education and sustainable local community development.

–Venue: BM International Hotel – located between the city center and Ilidža and offers comfort and quality service. It features separate bedrooms, kitchens, dining areas, and free internet. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided, as well as two coffee breaks daily. Participants should inform the host of any dietary restrictions by October 25th.
Practical activities will be held in the conference rooms of BM Hotel as well as outdoors.
