BRAVO in cooperation with Arte Diem Calabria is announcing an open call for the youth exchange “Art Myths Culture” which will be held in Filadelfia, Italy from April 2nd to April 10th, 2025.
The Youth Exchange “YE Art Myths Culture” is designed to bring together young people from different countries to explore the themes of art, myths and culture through various interactive activities, workshops and discussions. The exchange aims to promote intercultural dialogue, artistic expression and cultural understanding among the participants.
Encourage participants from different countries to exchange ideas, traditions and stories, fostering mutual respect and understanding of diverse cultures through the lens of art and mythology.
Enable participants to delve into their own cultural heritage as well as that of others, using myths and folklore as tools to connect with cultural roots and reflect on the importance of preserving and sharing these stories across generations.
Provide a platform for young people to express themselves through various forms of artistic media, including storytelling, visual arts, and performance, while highlighting the power of creativity as a universal language.
Ensure the inclusion of participants from disadvantaged backgrounds, providing them with the opportunity to actively participate in international cultural exchanges and gain skills in teamwork, communication, and leadership.
Inspire participants to engage in their local communities by organizing follow-up activities related to art and culture, leveraging their new skills to promote social cohesion, cultural awareness, and creativity in their home countries.
Develop key competencies such as teamwork, critical thinking, problem-solving, and public speaking, which will help participants grow personally and professionally, equipping them for future endeavors in both their personal lives and careers.
Use art and myths to highlight the interconnectedness of European cultures, reinforcing the idea of a shared cultural and historical identity among young Europeans.
These objectives will be achieved through workshops, discussions, cultural activities and the active engagement of participants, contributing to the overall growth of their intercultural and artistic skills.
Total number of participants: 36.
Participants are expected to be committed, motivated and actively involved in the dissemination of results and follow-up activities after the exchange.
