In collaboration with Para Ski Club for People with Disabilities, BRAVO is thrilled to announce an open call for ten coaches to participate in the Training of Trainers program for skiing with people with disabilities!
The project aims to promote sports and emphasize their significance in daily life, fostering social inclusion and well-being for people of all ages, genders, and backgrounds. It uses sports to educate children and youth, instill good values, and train sports workers and coaches.
The main goals include:
Workshops, events, and programs will use sports as informal education tools to advocate for changes in public policy and legislation. The project will target various populations to highlight the importance of physical activity in public health policies.
The Global Strategy on Diet, Physical Activity, and Health highlights the need for school policies that promote healthy habits. Sports benefit children with disabilities, improve public health, and prevent diseases, enhance mental health, and engage older adults.
This project adopts non-traditional educational methods to teach inclusion, gender equality, and healthy habits through sports, demonstrating that sports can be inclusive, innovative, and creative for different communities.
This five-day training aims to apply previously gained knowledge by having participants create their own workshops for their local communities. The training will teach participants how to build an open, inclusive, and fun environment for children to practice sports, as well as how to unleash creative potential.
The ideal participants for this project are passionate and dedicated educators, trainers, and sports professionals who are committed to promoting social inclusion, fostering emotional intelligence, and enhancing the development of children through sports activities.
