📌 Project Overview

  • Lead/Host Organisation: Moby Dick ETS (an NGO founded in 2005).

  • Start Date: September 2026.

  • Location: Salerno / San Cipriano Picentino, Italy.

📋 Volunteer Activities

Activities run Monday to Friday and are customized based on volunteer skills/preferences and center needs:

 

  • Creative & Inclusive Workshops: Support ceramic, theater, and artistic labs for people with disabilities.

  • Gardening & Social Farming: Tend to gardens/orchards, harvest, and assist in social farming.

  • Logistical & Common Space Support: Manage common areas and daily tasks at project centers.

  • Guest & Staff Relations: Support staff, build relationships with guests, and propose personal activities.

  • Language Learning: Includes a weekly Italian language course (basic and advanced levels).

💰 Financials & Practical Info

  • Pocket Money: €6 per day.

  • Food Allowance: €5 per day.

  • Accommodation: Located at Via Umberto I n.133, San Cipriano Picentino (a village ~18 km from the Moby Dick ETS office).

  • Utilities & Wi-Fi: Household bills and free Wi-Fi are fully covered by Moby Dick ETS.

  • Local Transport: Volunteers receive a monthly bus pass to reach project venues in Salerno.
