BRAVO BiH

Following the successful Final Conference of the “Fast Forward” project, BRAVO and our project partners gathered once more on 23rd of April 2025, for a final project meeting in Prishtine. This dedicated session served as an important opportunity for partners to reflect on the project’s impact, share experiences, and discuss the future beyond Fast Forward.

The meeting opened with a roundtable discussion where partners exchanged reflections on key takeaways, success stories, and challenges faced throughout the project. From the empowerment of young people through climate education to the strengthening of cross-border collaboration, each partner shared valuable insights that highlighted the real difference Fast Forward has made across the Western Balkans. Particular attention was given to overcoming challenges in integrating climate topics into national education systems and ensuring the sustainability of youth mobility initiatives.

Following the reflections, partners presented and endorsed a set of Policy Recommendations aimed at continuing and expanding the project’s impact:

1. Policy 1: „Strengthening Climate Change Education for Youth in the Western Balkans“ – emphasizing the importance of integrating environmental topics into mainstream education.

2. Policy 2: „Improving Dual-System Work-Based Learning (WBL)“ – to better prepare young people for careers in the green economy through practical, hands-on experiences.

3. Policy 3: „Validation and Recognition of Learning Outcomes“ – advocating for formal acknowledgment of skills and knowledge gained through non-formal education and mobility programs.

Special focus was placed on reviewing the project’s progress and brainstorming the replication potential of Fast Forward in other regions, ensuring that the knowledge, tools, and networks built during the project can continue to grow and benefit more young people.

The session concluded with a joint reflection on lessons learned and future plans. Partners emphasized the importance of sustaining the partnerships formed, building alumni networks among beneficiaries, and exploring opportunities for new joint initiatives focused on climate action, education, and youth empowerment.

While the “Fast Forward” project officially comes to an end, the meeting reaffirmed that its spirit, results, and community will continue driving positive change across the Western Balkans and beyond.
