The local event held on the 10th of May 2025 in Vitez, Bosnia and Herzegovina, featured a dedicated dissemination and overview activity focused on the Fast Forward project. This activity served as an important platform for presenting the objectives, relevance and outcomes of the Fast Forward initiative to local youth and stakeholders.
The session was delivered by Jakuta Duvnjak, an active participant in two Youth Exchanges within the Fast Forward project. Drawing from her personal experience, she provided attendees with a detailed overview of the project’s core promoting green sustainable living, engaging and empowering youth for a greener future.
Jakuta highlighted the importance of youth engagement in the promotion of sustainable and environmentally responsible practices. She emphasized the role of non-formal education in raising awareness about the European Union’s Green Deal policies and in equipping young people with the knowledge and tools necessary for adopting greener lifestyles. Through her presentation, she demonstrated how participation in the Fast Forward project encouraged behavioral change, critical reflection on environmental issues and active involvement in the promotion of sustainable living at the community level.
Her story was particularly valuable in offering an authentic perspective on the practical benefits and long-term impacts of Erasmus+ projects. By sharing real-life examples, she encouraged young people in attendance to pursue similar international opportunities and become actively involved in shaping their communities.
The dissemination activity was met with strong interest and interaction from participants, further reinforcing the importance of such sessions in raising awareness about European youth projects and their capacity to empower and educate.
