On October 8, 2026, a dissemination activity was held at the “Omer Mušić” Primary School in Brežani, Kakanj, as part of the Sustainable Impact 3.0 project, with the aim of raising awareness about the importance of environmental protection and a responsible attitude toward nature.
The activities involved two fifth-grade classes, totaling 37 students, who had the opportunity to learn more about nature conservation and ways they can contribute to environmental protection in their daily lives through educational and practical content.
The program included a presentation on nature protection, an interactive quiz through which students tested their knowledge and reflected on their own habits, as well as a practical waste sorting workshop. Through these activities, students learned about the importance of recycling, proper waste disposal, and responsible use of natural resources.
A special part of the program was planting a pine tree in the schoolyard. This activity allowed students to connect the knowledge they acquired with concrete action and make their own contribution to nature conservation within their school community.
Activities of this kind play an important role in developing ecological awareness among children, as interactive learning and hands-on work help students more easily understand how their daily choices affect the environment. At the same time, these activities encourage them to develop responsible habits and apply their knowledge in everyday life.
The activity was carried out by Muhamed Velispahić, Dejan Vukajlović, and Ena Šahmanović as part of the Sustainable Impact 3.0 project.
