In a rapidly evolving world, empowering the younger generation with essential life skills and fostering their active participation has never been more important. Recognizing this need, the European Commission has co-financed an innovative project known as DIGIVOGUI – a Virtual Exchange program that aims to equip young people with the tools they need for informed decision-making and active engagement in society.

At its core, DIGIVOGUI is a Virtual Exchange initiative that strives to develop personal and social competencies among young individuals. By doing so, the project aims to enable them to become active participants in civic life and to make responsible decisions.

The success of DIGIVOGUI is built upon the collaboration of dedicated partner organizations from different European countries. These partners include:

  • Psientífica- Associação para a Promoção e Desenvolvimento Social (Portugal)
  • Bosnian Representative Association for Valuable Opportunities (Bosnia and Herzegovina)
  • Schedia Stin Poli Kallitexniki Paidagogiki Omada (Greece)
  • Center Progress and Development (Albania)

Together, these partners are leveraging their diverse expertise and experiences to ensure the successful implementation of the project.

Three Key Results, One Unified Goal

The DIGIVOGUI program comprises three central outcomes, each contributing to the overarching goal of empowering young people:

  1. Theoretical and Practical Manuals: The project aims to develop comprehensive theoretical manuals for youth workers, providing them with the necessary insights and approaches to engage effectively with young individuals. Simultaneously, practical manuals are being crafted for young people, equipping them with real-world skills and knowledge.

  2. Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) and Training: DIGIVOGUI intends to provide Youth Workers with MOOCs and training sessions to enhance their professional development. These resources will enable them to better guide and mentor young people, maximizing the project’s impact.

  3. Personal and Social Competency Development: The project is dedicated to fostering the growth of personal and social competencies among young people. By focusing on these essential skills, DIGIVOGUI seeks to prepare young individuals to navigate the complexities of the modern world.

The overarching objectives of the DIGIVOGUI project are two-fold:

  • General Goals:

   – Empower young people by promoting their social and professional integration.

   – Contribute to reducing social exclusion among young individuals.

  • Specific Objectives:
  1. a) Promote transnational cooperation among partner organizations.
  2. b) Enhance the professional development of Youth Workers, enabling them to better serve and guide young people.
  3. c) Foster the development of personal and social competencies among young individuals, equipping them for success in various aspects of life.
Target Audience

DIGIVOGUI has two primary target groups:

  1. Youngsters between 13-30 years old: The project aims to directly impact the lives of young individuals, equipping them with essential life skills and promoting their active engagement in society.

  2. Youth Workers: These are the professionals responsible for implementing the program and working closely with young people. By enhancing their skills and knowledge, the project indirectly benefits the young individuals they guide.

As DIGIVOGUI continues to unfold, it holds the promise of creating a positive and lasting impact on the lives of young people and those who guide them. Through its collaborative spirit, innovative approach, and commitment to empowerment, DIGIVOGUI is paving the way for a more engaged and confident younger generation.
