Get ready for a unique way to explore Sarajevo! As part of the ERASMUS+ SPORT “ORIUNITE” project, the Federation of Sports and Recreation of FBiH and the Orienteering Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina are organizing an exciting international orienteering competition in Sarajevo.
This international event brings together participants from all across Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as Italy, Hungary, Croatia, Germany, and Cyprus, offering a wonderful opportunity to combine sport, fun, and exploration. Whether you are an experienced orienteer or trying it out for the very first time, everyone is welcome to join.
The event takes place in Sarajevo on October 3, 2026, with pre-event activities beginning at 11:00 AM – including registration, equipment and number distribution, a practical briefing, and opening remarks – before the official race starts at 12:00 PM. Following the competition, organizers will conduct results verification, host a medal and prize ceremony, and conclude the day with a social gathering and refreshments.
Participation is completely free with no entry fee required, though interested participants must submit their registration by September 26.
All participants will receive medals and certificates of participation. Special awards have been secured for the competitors who place in the top three positions.
