BRAVO at Career Day 2026: Connecting Youth with Opportunities

On April 14, 2026, the International Burch University hosted its annual Career Day, bringing together students, companies, public institutions, and organizations in one of the largest career-focused events in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

As an active contributor to youth development and employability, BRAVO (Bosnian Representative Association for Valuable Opportunities) proudly participated in this impactful event.

Career Day 2026, organized by the university’s Career Office, aimed to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and real-world experience by creating direct connections between students and potential employers.

With over 2,000 students enrolled at the university and more than 50 participating companies and institutions, this year’s edition marked the largest and most dynamic Career Day to date.

BRAVO’s Contribution

During the fair, BRAVO was represented through a dedicated promotional stand, where the team engaged directly with students and young people interested in international opportunities, non-formal education, and volunteering programs. Visitors had the chance to learn more about:

Erasmus+ mobility opportunities
European Solidarity Corps (ESC) volunteering programs
Youth exchanges, training courses, and capacity-building projects
BRAVO’s ongoing initiatives and international partnerships

Through meaningful conversations and one-on-one interactions, BRAVO provided guidance on how young people can take their first steps toward international experiences, skill development, and active participation in society.

Beyond a Career Fair

Career Day 2026 went beyond the traditional concept of a job fair. Alongside the exhibition space, the event featured panel discussions and guest lectures involving representatives from ministries, public institutions, and industry leaders. These sessions offered students valuable insights into different career paths, labor market trends, and the skills needed for future success.

BRAVO’s presence contributed to this broader mission by emphasizing the importance of non-formal education, international mobility, and youth empowerment as key elements of professional and personal growth.
