We are pleased to announce the selected participants for the international Youth Exchange “From Silence to Strength”, which will take place from 29 November to 8 December 2026 in Loutraki, Greece, hosted by Hope of Youth.
This project brings together young people to explore important issues related to gender equality, gender-based violence, women’s rights, human rights, and active citizenship, while promoting intercultural dialogue, solidarity, and meaningful youth participation.
Following the selection process, BRAVO is delighted to announce the participants who will represent Bosnia and Herzegovina in this international learning experience.
About the Project
The main objective of “From Silence to Strength” is to raise awareness among young people about gender-based violence and violence against women, while encouraging them to become active contributors to prevention, advocacy, and positive social change.
Through non-formal education, interactive workshops, experiential learning activities, creative expression, and intercultural cooperation, participants will explore the causes, forms, and consequences of gender-based violence.
The project aims to strengthen young people’s understanding of gender equality and human rights while helping them develop the confidence and skills needed to recognize discrimination, challenge harmful stereotypes, and respond appropriately to situations involving violence.
Participants will also have the opportunity to exchange experiences, perspectives, and good practices with young people from different cultural backgrounds.
Special attention is given to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment, particularly for young people with fewer opportunities.
