BRAVO BiH

In Sarajevo, from October 28 to 30, 2026, the final meeting of partner organizations for the international project “COOPERATION – Inclusion through sport for all generations” took place.

Hosted by BRAVO (Bosnian Representative Association for Valuable Opportunities), the three-day gathering brought together representatives from Asocijacija Sport Za Sve Srbije (Serbia), PRONA (Montenegro), BG Be Active (Bulgaria), and Ski klub Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina) to summarize key achievements, showcase final deliverables, and strategize for long-term sustainability.

Meeting Discussion

The first day focuses on project management, synthesizing implemented work packages, and presenting the new web platform and documentary preview by Suad Murselović (BRAVO). The second day centers on impact and media outreach, featuring the official promotion of the project Picture Book, a dissemination session led by Nijaz Memić (SSK Sarajevo), an interactive workshop on sustaining results, technical closeout reporting with Filip Vešović (ASFAS), a public stakeholder session, and a guided cultural walking tour of Sarajevo. The event concludes on the third day with informal bilateral consultations and partner departures.

We take immense pride in everything accomplished throughout this initiative, from breaking barriers in inclusive sport to building lasting regional partnerships that will continue to inspire positive community change long after the project’s completion.

About the "COOPERATION" Project

The “COOPERATION – Inclusion through sport for all generations” project was established to promote physical activity and grassroots sports as essential drivers for social inclusion, health, and well-being across all ages, genders, and backgrounds. It uses sport to educate children and youth, instill good values, and transfer expert knowledge to sports workers and coaches.

A central focus of the initiative is building grassroots groups, sharing international best practices, and promoting social inclusion with a dedicated emphasis on children with disabilities and those facing disadvantages. Through workshops, events, and non-formal educational methods, the project advocates for public policy updates and addresses the often-overlooked importance of physical activity in public health policies.

Aligning with global health strategies on nutrition and physical exercise, the project demonstrates how non-traditional, innovative sports activities can foster gender equity, boost mental and cognitive health, engage older populations, and build inclusive communities.
