BRAVO BiH

On 21–22 October 2026, BRAVO joined the GENDERWISE project partners in Cascais, Portugal, for the third Transnational Project Meeting.

The two-day meeting focused on educational resources, the development of the project’s learning platform, and
preparations for piloting and mentoring activities supporting young female athletes.

The meeting provided an opportunity for partners to review progress and discuss the practical steps needed for the next phase of implementation.

Developing Educational Resources and the Learning Platform

One of the main topics was the development of additional educational materials for educators, including a possible handbook or guidelines based on the project’s learning modules. Partners explored how these resources could be integrated into the platform and discussed responsibilities and timelines for their preparation.

The programme also covered findings from alpha testing and recommendations for improving the platform. Discussions addressed national and final reports, the content and features of the final platform, and the accompanying deliverables.

Preparations for piloting activities brought attention to how participants would use the e-learning content, how their knowledge would be assessed, and how the learning experience would be evaluated.

Preparing Mentoring Support for Young Female Athletes

The second day placed particular emphasis on mentoring. Partners discussed the role and responsibilities of mentors, the characteristics and experience required, and the recruitment process.

A key focus was the preparation of peer-to-peer mentoring support for at least 30 young female athletes. The discussions covered mentor tasks, partner responsibilities, monitoring arrangements, and implementation timelines. This work forms an important
part of preparing support that responds to the needs of the athletes involved.

Coordinating the Next Phase

Project management and quality assessment were also on the agenda, including a review of evaluation results and areas for improvement. Partners addressed upcoming meetings and preparations for a future project meeting and multiplier event in Croatia.

Dissemination discussions focused on communication activities, partner contributions, and ways to reach wider audiences through social media, newsletters, conferences, and project materials.

For BRAVO, the meeting was an opportunity to contribute to the shared planning behind GENDERWISE’s educational and mentoring activities. The discussions in Cascais centred on turning the project’s resources into practical learning opportunities and
support for young female athletes.
