IAIS began informally in 2018 as a group of individuals who wanted to do meaningful work to include migrant in their community, promote environmental and sustainability awareness, and connect with others across borders. What started as a small initiative gradually developed into an organisation focused on integration, sustainability, democracy, youth participation and international cooperation.
Our Mission – Advance the integration of minorities, empower young people, strengthen organisations and support sustainable development.
Our Vision – Inclusive societies where diverse cultures coexist peacefully, people participate fully, and exclusion and discrimination are challenged.
Cultural minorities are often the first to face isolation, prejudice and conflict in their communities. This training responds by equipping practitioners who work with vulnerable and socially marginalised multi-ethnic young people with practical intercultural, inclusion and peacebuilding competences.
Main Aim – Build cross-cultural awareness and diversity as foundations for peace, while exchanging effective practices for peaceful and nonviolent social action in youth work.
