The fourth Virtual Forum Lab within the MYndTheater project was successfully held, marking another important milestone in the collaborative development of Forum Theatre performances.
This session focused on two essential elements of the creative process: the delineation of characters and the creation of the theatrical dialogue (script).
During the first part of the workshop, participants worked on the development of character profiles, carefully defining the personalities, motivations, and roles of the characters who will be portrayed by the actors. In addition, attention was given to the hypothetical characters that audience members may choose to represent during Forum Theatre interventions.

This process ensured that each character reflects realistic perspectives and contributes meaningfully to the conflicts and situations explored throughout the performances.
The second part of the Virtual Forum Lab was dedicated to the creation of the theatrical dialogue (script). Building on the critical situations and staging concepts developed in previous sessions, participants transformed their ideas into structured theatrical texts. They collaboratively developed dialogues, monologues, and character interactions that authentically represent the selected conflicts while maintaining the conversational and accessible style that is characteristic of Forum Theatre.
Special emphasis was placed on creating scripts that are natural, relatable, and open to audience participation. Participants carefully considered the function of each character, the progression of the conflict, and the opportunities for spectators to become active “Spect-Actors” by proposing and acting out alternative solutions during the performances.
Through collaborative writing and creative discussion, the fourth Virtual Forum Lab significantly advanced the development of the MYndTheater Forum Theatre performances. The session strengthened participants’ storytelling and scriptwriting skills while ensuring that the final productions remain engaging, realistic, and capable of fostering dialogue, critical reflection, and social change among young people.
