BRAVO BiH

Thinking about my previous experiences on this topic, this project stood out. The organizers really knew how to make the workshops serious, educational but also fun and connect people internationally.

Participants from other countries told us about their issues but also very clever solutions they have found. Mutually, we shared our daily habits on how to think ecologically and it really changed my perspective on how much the little steps matter.

In today’s world, everyone keeps talking about how our environment is getting worse, but such projects keep the hope alive and promote the nature that we are protecting. Now I know it’s never too late to take action! – Amila

Before applying for this project, I hesitated quite a bit, since I thought the topic was somewhat narrow and that the basic environmental problems had already been overcome and solved. I thought the project would deal with waste, fast fashion issues, and similar things. Still, I didn’t know that even the most developed countries in the world struggle with a shortage of drinking water and with soil and water pollution. Also, ever since AI appeared in our lives, I can say I was thrilled with this tool — until the moment I learned that AI itself also has to destroy in order to run. Now I look at all these conveniences of today with great caution and not at all naively. I’ve learned that we get nothing for free, and that everything demands something in return. Every unnecessary and unnatural ease in our lives takes its toll on natural resources. When I got back from my trip, I started paying closer attention to small everyday habits — like how much water quietly goes to waste just from brushing my teeth. It made me realize how much change can begin with the smallest, most ordinary moments. – Imran

To anyone who is hesitating, I would definitely recommend applying for an Erasmus+ project. Every project is memorable and unique, and you always come back home with new experiences. During this project we learned more about sustainability and ecology through organized workshops and activities, but even more importantly we shared ideas and experiences with people from different countries, and we got to see what environmental issues they are facing and how they are approached in their cultures. One of the best parts of the project was meeting new people, making new friendships, connections and memories that will last for a long time. – Alma

All these days after the exchange, I’ve felt so fulfilled, considering that for 13 days I was surrounded by the most wonderful people from the participating countries. I’m really glad we shared our life stories and the environmental situations we’re dealing with in our countries with each other. Coming from Southeast Europe, it’s hard to grasp that there are still countries struggling with a lack of drinking water. During these kinds of programs, I’m always glad to find some comfort for my disappointments, given the situation both in my country and in my personal life. Also, from the project I realized that even some highly developed countries are still struggling with basic environmental problems, and I’m glad I understood that nowhere is perfect and there’s always room for progress. Yerevan and Tbilisi are cities straight out of a dream, and I’d especially like to highlight the Armenian people, who are magically hospitable. From now on, through life, I’ll carry with me the most beautiful memories of one wonderful nation in the Caucasus. – Ilma

It would not be an exaggeration to say that this project is life-changing. Setting aside the new information an individual gains regarding sustainability, ecology, and planetary preservation, there remains a significant set of skills and competencies acquired along the way—often unconsciously. By working in an international environment, participants develop communication and organizational skills; they learn to collaborate with people from diverse cultures and worldviews, take responsibility, adapt to new situations, and jointly find solutions to challenges. These are competencies that endure long after the exchange concludes, serving as a valuable foundation for both professional and personal development. – Dalal
