As part of the DevelopMENS project, a workshop was successfully organized to introduce participants to the project’s newly developed MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) platform, designed to support learning, collaboration, and the exchange of knowledge among young people, youth workers, educators, and trainers.
During the workshop, participants had the opportunity to explore the platform’s features, navigate through its educational modules, and learn how it can be used as a valuable tool for personal and professional development. The platform was created to provide accessible, interactive, and high-quality learning opportunities focused on Self-Determination Theory, Critical Thinking, Media Literacy, and Soft Skills Development.
The session included a live demonstration of the platform, practical guidance on accessing the learning materials, and an overview of the resources available to users. Participants actively engaged in discussions, shared their impressions, and exchanged ideas on how the platform can support educational activities and empower young people across Europe.
The DevelopMENS MOOC platform represents one of the project’s key results, ensuring that the knowledge and methodologies developed throughout the project remain freely accessible to educators, youth workers, and learners long after the project’s completion. It also serves as a central hub for future virtual exchanges and international collaboration among project partners and participants.
The workshop highlighted the importance of innovative digital learning tools in promoting inclusive, flexible, and engaging education while encouraging lifelong learning and international cooperation.
