Hope of Youth is a non-profit civil law company based in Athens, Greece, dedicated to empowering young people across Europe by fostering active engagement in key areas such as environmental sustainability, digital transformation, mental well-being, and solidarity. HoY aims to inspire and equip young individuals with the skills, knowledge, and support needed to create meaningful and lasting change in their communities and beyond through its programs and initiatives.
“Outdoor Way” is an Erasmus+ Youth Exchange organised by Hope of Youth, taking place in Loutraki, Greece from October 29th to November 6th, 2026. Through outdoor activities, non-formal education, intercultural learning and mindfulness practices, the project aims to create a space where participants can explore healthier lifestyles and develop practical life skills.
During the exchange, participants will take part in activities such as hiking, nature walks, mindfulness sessions, well-being workshops, team challenges, creative reflection, and intercultural activities. These experiences are designed to support both personal growth and collective responsibility.
The program takes place in Loutraki, a seaside town just 1 hour from Athens, known for its natural beauty and thermal springs. We’ll stay at Achillion Hotel Loutraki, right by the sea and close to pharmacies and a hospital – ensuring a safe, comfy, and convenient stay.
At the end of October, Loutraki usually has mild autumn weather. Daytime temperatures are often around 18-23°C, while evenings can be cooler, around 12-16°C.
We encourage you to bring comfortable clothes, a light jacket or hoodie, sports/outdoor shoes, and a raincoat or umbrella. Since activities may take place outdoors, layered clothing is recommended.
The Youth Exchange will include 36 participants from Greece, Spain, Poland, Turkey, and Bosnia & Herzegovina. The age limit for participants is 18-30 years old. Group leaders are not subject to this age limit and may be over 30.
