Adult education is undergoing a massive transformation, and BRAVO is proud to be at the forefront of this change.
As part of our ongoing commitment to lifelong learning, our team traveled to Setúbal, Portugal, to participate in the Transnational Project Meeting for the XXI Adults project which is officially titled “Adaptation of the adult educational system to the XXI Century”.
Held on May 21st, 2026, this crucial evaluation meeting brought together international partners to review progress and map out the next steps for modernizing adult learning across Europe.
The core mission of the XXI Adults project is to revitalize adult education by aligning it with the realities of the modern world. The initiative focuses on updating training offers in adult education centers, equipping educators and learners with essential digital competencies, and fostering a stronger sense of European identity through active participation in European educational programs.
The meeting in Setúbal was packed with strategic planning and collaborative workshops aimed at achieving these project goals. The day kicked off with a review of the project’s timeline, working plans, and a status update on upcoming tasks led by the coordinator, Diputación de Valladolid. Partners then evaluated the newly proposed Implementation Plan, which serves as a comprehensive roadmap outlining deadlines and resource requirements necessary to successfully roll out the project’s next phases.
A significant portion of the day was dedicated to the project’s interactive platform, where partners reviewed recent updates and discussed the integration of educational content designed to help adult education centers easily navigate and implement new learning methodologies.
By modernizing educational tools and frameworks, the XXI Adults project will directly enhance the digital skills of both adult educators and learners. This does not just improve integration into an increasingly digital world, but it also boosts employability and promotes deep social inclusion.
BRAVO is excited to bring these innovative methodologies and digital tools back home, ensuring that adult education centers in our network are fully equipped to empower the learners of today and tomorrow. Stay tuned as we prepare to enter the pilot phase and roll out these exciting new resources.
This initiative is co-funded by the European Union and implemented alongside partners Diputación de Valladolid, E-School Educational Group, Formative Footprint, Empoderar Institute, and Roma and Inclusion.
