On May 20, 2026, from 09:00 to 13:00, University of Sarajevo – Faculty of Pharmacy will host the event “Step into AHEDIS: Project Showcase and Promotion,” bringing together representatives of academia, experts in digital technologies, healthcare and education, as well as policymakers and institutional leaders.
The event is organized within the framework of the “Advancing Higher Education through Digital Innovation and Smart Technologies (AHEDIS)” project, which aims to enhance higher education through the integration of modern digital tools, innovative teaching approaches, and smart technologies.
Participants will have the opportunity to explore the project’s key outcomes, gain insights from the needs analysis report, and discuss the growing role of artificial intelligence in healthcare and education. The program will also highlight the use of AV and XR technologies in modern lectures, alongside innovative AI-supported pedagogical approaches.
The event will feature presentations from distinguished national and international experts, including Prof. Dr. Alisa Elezović, project coordinator, Prof. Dr. Elma Omeragić, Prof. Dr. Sci. Mirza Žižak, MD, as well as professionals specializing in digital innovation and educational development.
Organizers emphasize that the event represents an important platform for knowledge exchange, networking, and discussions on the future of higher education in the context of rapid technological advancement.
