About the Project
Sustainable ImPact 3 is the third edition of a long-term initiative dedicated to tackling overproduction and excessive waste. Grounded in the EU Circular Economy Package and the 2023 Waste Framework Directive, this project bridges the gap between high-level European environmental policy and grassroots youth work.
Recognizing the urgent need for green education identified by the European Commission and the EEA, the project empowers youth workers to become catalysts for sustainable change. By aligning with the “Sustainable Green Europe” Youth Goal, we aim to transform environmental awareness into tangible community action.
To ensure a deep and practical impact, the training is structured around the European Sustainability Competence Framework (GreenComp). The program is designed for participants to master each competence area and return to their communities equipped with the advanced tools needed to inspire a resource-efficient, circular future.
Venue and Accommodation
We will be staying in the heart of the South Moravian region, in Velké Pavlovice, at Ekocentrum Trkmanka. This unique site, established in a reconstructed Baroque manor house, serves as a center for environmental education, folklore, and regional tourism.

- The center offers a blend of history and modern facilities, including a large conference hall (reserved for our training), smaller classrooms, and practical workshop halls. The complex features a dining room with its own kitchen and an extensive environmental garden. You will be accommodated in 6-bed room or 13- bed rooms, all with shared bathrooms. It is therefore highly possible that you will end up sharing room with 5-6 people, so please keep that in mind.
Meals will be served in the dining room within the complex. Please note that the meals will be simple, using local ingredients typical of Czech cuisine, such as potatoes, rice, milk, cheese, pastries, tomatoes, cucumbers, and more.
As the project focuses on sustainability, the majority of the meals will be vegetarian. Meat-based dishes will be served up to 3 time maximum during the whole week.
Participation Expectations and What to Bring
The ideal participant…
- is 18 and more years old;
- is interested in sustainability and environmental issues, ideally with previous experience in youth work or education to bring to the project;
- has a plan how to apply the skills and know-how from the
- project in your daily practice and further projects;
- seeks inspiration and wants to network with other professionals
- with whom they may cooperate in the future.
- is committed to fully participate in the dissemination of the project
What to bring?
- Personal medications – A basic first aid kit will be available at the project, and there is a small pharmacy in the town near the venue; however, its stock may be limited and specific medications may not always be available.
- Please ensure to bring the essential medications required for your medical condition with you.
- Indoor shoes, as we will be changing footwear when being inside the building.
- Comfortable clothes for both indoor and outdoor activities – there will be outdoor opportunities, so be sure to come prepared.
- Your own towels and personal hygiene supplies.
