“My Erasmus+ exchange in Turkiye was a truly transformative experience that helped me discover new parts of myself and awaken skills I didn’t even realize I had. Through teamwork, collaboration, and mutual support, I had the chance to connect with inspiring people from different countries and backgrounds. Working together taught me how powerful shared goals, empathy, and open communication can be. This experience opened my heart to new cultures and sparked a deep desire to continue exploring the world in the future. I am truly grateful to BRAVO for providing this opportunity specifically to me, an experience that will benefit me in so many ways, both personally and professionally. I look forward to taking part in many new projects and continuing this journey of growth and discovery.” – Farah
“This project was definitely more than a project. The experiences we gained and things we learned are going to stay with us for the rest of our lives. Aside from the learning part, the project was filled with fun activities, from which I have to highlight the trip to Cappadocia.
As for every project, the most important part is, of course, people. One can learn the most from people. Different cultures, different languages, personalities, views on certain subjects, people from Sivas, people from around the world…every single person shapes us in a way we can not predict. And we continue to live as a new version of us. Thank you Bravo for this opportunity and for guiding and helping us throughout the whole journey!” – Zejneb
“This project was more than we all expected. It was mixture of different cultures, thoughts, exchange of experiences and definitely worth the time and energy. People that I met were amazing and I can say that I made friends for life. They impacted my beliefs and thoughts, they inspired me and were such an one life experience that I think every exchange should have.
Project was interesting and life changing, definitely full of new knowledge, experiences, challenges and positive personal development. I would like to thank BRAVO for this opportunity to meet great people, enjoy a new culture and develop myself on all grounds. I am grateful for this experience and I would recommend an exchange to every young human.” – Hena
“This was my first Erasmus+ exchange and it was in Sivas, Türkiye, with the BRAVO organization. It was a beautiful experience for me. I feel very happy and thankful for everything I learned and the amazing people I met. I made new friends from Estonia, Italy, Bulgaria, and Türkiye, and learned so much about their countries and cultures.
During the project, we learned about earthquakes and how to react in emergency situations. We also tried many things at AFAD center, such as rock climbing and experienced simulations of earthquakes and other natural disasters. One of the best parts was a one-day trip to Cappadocia, which made this exchange even more special! This exchange gave me confidence and new memories that I will always keep. Thank you BRAVO for giving us this amazing opportunity!” – Merjem
“I would like to thank the BRAVO organization for another exceptional project that was a fantastic experience. During this project, I had the opportunity to meet many wonderful people from different countries, to exchange ideas, culture and experiences, and to learn and grow together. The atmosphere was wonderful, full of positive energy, team spirit and new friendships.
I would especially like to highlight our time spent at the AFAD center, where we learned a lot about how to provide assistance and respond in earthquake situations. This whole project was a rich, inspiring experience that encouraged me to continue participating in similar activities and contributing to the community internationally. Thank you BRAVO team for another unforgettable adventure!” – Amila
“My experience in Sivas, Turkey, was truly unforgettable. Even though the region has a history of earthquakes, what impressed me most was the resilience and kindness of the people. I learned a lot about how the community prepares for and responds to natural disasters. Local experts explained the safety measures and modern construction methods designed to minimize earthquake damage, which gave me a deeper appreciation for how seriously people take safety and preparedness there.
Despite the topic of earthquakes, my overall time in Sivas was absolutely wonderful. The city’s rich culture, warm hospitality, and breathtaking scenery made me feel welcome and inspired. I had the chance to explore historical landmarks, taste traditional Turkish food, and connect with people who shared their personal stories of strength and hope. I am very thankful to the BRAVO organization for once again giving me the opportunity to travel, explore new places, and meet amazing new people. It was a beautiful experience that I will always remember.” – Semina
