“Coming back to Cortes de La Frontera after one year, to another amazing project was extremely special for me. I had an opportunity to meet such an amazing group of people. When I say amazing I mean talented, creative, good hearted artists who truly made this project memorable. I get to learn so much about new cultures and traditions, but besides all the differences that we had, I love how we get to acknowledge all similarities that we share with each other.
The project itself was created in a way where we could share our ideas and take part in organizing our week. Throughout the whole week we had different kinds of workshops where each day was dedicated to some specific art form. That way everyone had a chance to express themselves artistically and share their passion and knowledge with others.
I am beyond grateful for this experience, it was truly something I needed. I want to say a huge thank you to BRAVO for giving me a chance to be in Cortes again. I love that so-called White Village with all of my heart and without BRAVO I probably wouldn’t even know it exists.” – Taida Terzo
“Being surrounded by like-minded people on this project really made me feel extremely comfortable and peaceful. Doing all forms of art, from photography to painting murals, in the tiny corners of Cortes de la Frontera awakened creativity in all of us and helped us express ourselves in different ways. Leaving something behind in the beautiful Andalucía feels completely unbelievable, almost something you could only dream of.
Besides the official part, learning about new cultures and taking part in their traditions through dances, songs and food brought all participants together. The friendships I made in this project will always stay in my heart and I will cherish them with all the warmth. The week we spent in Cortes was truly unbelievable, every day brought a new, exciting adventure and it was an honour to be part of such an exchange. I would like to thank the BRAVO team for giving me such an opportunity that I will remember and cherish forever.” – Hana Čizmić
“For me, the youth exchange Street Vibes – Color Your City was truly one of a kind. Twenty-four young people from four different countries met in the most beautiful part of Spain – Andalusia, more precisely in Cortes de la Frontera, a small village near Malaga. In Cortes, we had the chance to meet many new people, make lifelong friendships, get to know different cultures, and visit places that, without Bravo BiH, we would probably never have had the opportunity to see.
The topic of the youth exchange was art in all its forms, and that is exactly what made this experience so unique and exciting. Photography, painting, drawing, dancing – all of these were part of our everyday activities in Cortes. Just imagine how wonderful it was to be able to participate in such an exchange! I am truly grateful that I had the opportunity to go to Cortes, enjoy seven beautiful days, and bring back so many amazing memories with me to Bosnia.” – Haris Šiljak
“During this youth exchange, I truly feel like I experienced something life-changing. The days I spent in Cortes were filled with laughter, learning, and unforgettable moments with people who quickly became more than just friends, they became family. Being surrounded by so many inspiring and creative young people from different countries gave me the chance to see the world from new perspectives, to grow as a person, and to learn more about myself than I ever expected. What made this exchange so special was the perfect mix of creativity, teamwork, and cultural diversity. Every activity we took part in taught me something new whether it was about different forms of art, communication or friendship.
This project definitely changed me for the better. It taught me patience, openness, and the importance of community. I am endlessly grateful to BRAVO BiH for giving me this opportunity, because without them none of these beautiful memories would have been possible. The friendships I made, the lessons I learned, and the unforgettable days in Cortes are something I will carry with me for the rest of my life.” – Nejira Berbić
“During this youth exchange, I have experienced so many new friendships, cultures and art forms. It was truly such a unique experience, starting from the location of the event down to every tiny detail and moment that occurred. I have never felt so connected and welcomed by a group of people the way I did in this project. Just being able to share about my interests and hobbies with like-minded people felt very peaceful.
This was one of the most eventful and impactful youth exchanges I have been to and I am very glad to have been part of such an amazing project. In the span of 7 days, I learned so many new things, met so many amazing people and made a ton of memories that I will cherish forever. ” – Mersiha Halilčević
“I had the wonderful opportunity to take part in this youth exchange in Spain, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Every day brought something new and exciting: we went on a hike, painted on tote bags, and even created murals on the walls of Cortes de la Frontera. Each activity was inspiring in its own way and gave us the chance to express our creativity while transforming the town into a colorful stage full of life and meaning. But what stood out the most for me was not only the art we made, but the connections I built with people. The friendships and bonds I created are something I truly value and feel I will continue to nurture in the future. Beyond the colors, music, and creativity, it was this sense of community and shared energy that made the whole experience so special. I returned home with new skills, new friends, and unforgettable memories.” – Hena Šehović
