ABOUT THE PROJECT
The aim of this training course is to bring together youth workers, youth leaders and volunteers from different countries in order to strengthen their competences in non-formal education methods, foster intercultural dialogue, and support them in developing inclusive and sustainable educational practices within their local realities.
Aim & Objectives
To introduce and practice a variety of non-formal education methods and tools that can be used in
youth work.To enhance the participants’ ability to design and implement educational activities addressing the needs
of disadvantaged young people.To promote experiential learning and reflective practices as a way to develop personal and professional
competences of youth workers.To encourage intercultural exchange, cooperation and networking among participants from different
backgrounds.To support participants in creating sustainable follow-up initiatives and local projects inspired by the
training experience.To validate the learning outcomes of participants through the Youthpass certificate.
PARTICIPANT PROFILE
The Training Course will bring together 32 participants (a maximum of 3 participants per organization) from Erasmus+ Youth Programme countries, Third Countries Associated to the Programme and Partner Countries – third countries not associated to the Programme.
The course will primarily target participants over 20 years old (there is no upper age limit), who are part of
an NGO, youth center, or educational institution, working as youth workers and having a professional interest
in youth work, non-formal education, and the topic of youth leadership.
We would especially welcome applications from:
Participants should have an interest or experience in non-formal education, youth work, or working with
disadvantaged young people.Preference will be given to youth workers who work with or represent disadvantaged groups.
They should be willing to transfer the knowledge and outcomes gained from the project to their own
organizations and communities.After the course, they are expected to apply the learned methods by developing follow-up projects or
local activities.
ACCOMMODATION, FOOD & TRAVEL
Participants will be accommodated at the HOTEL BM INTERNATIONAL. The hotel is located on the main road between the city center and the smaller down city center called Ilidža, has parking for guests, and two tram stops are only a couple of minutes away. Whether it’s about individuals or entire families, the hotel offers tourists comfort and quality service, and business customers can even rent an office or business premises for several days as needed.
Hotel BM International apartments have separate bedrooms, separate kitchen with dining area, mini-bar, and bathroom with toilet. Cable TV, telephone and free internet access over wireless network are just few of the details included in this offer.
- Meals will be provided 3 times a day: breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
