As part of a vibrant fair event, BRAVO BiH hosted a dynamic educational activity aimed at introducing young people to exciting job opportunities within the non-governmental sector. This impactful initiative was launched under the NURTURE project, which focuses on building bridges between youth and NGOs in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
A Fairground Workshop with Real Impact
Attendees, many of whom were young job seekers, were invited to explore roles, responsibilities, and pathways within NGOs. The session offered a hands-on approach: participants asked and learned about potential career routes, and discovered how NGOs operate behind the scenes. The NURTURE Project: Supporting Youth Employment and NGO Capacity
The NURTURE initiative aims to create strong connections between youth and the NGO sector across the Western Balkans.
In Bosnia and Herzegovina, it has led to the establishment of a National Support Point (NSP)—a hub providing critical career guidance, mentorship, and practical job opportunities within NGOs.
Participants also gain access to valuable resources like the Career Counselling Toolbox and the Mentoring Guide Toolbox, equipping both youth and NGOs with tools for successful career development and mentorship processes.
