Even though I had some doubts about the project, mainly with the location being so remote, and the diet being vegetarian, I still had an amazing time. Sustainability and ecology are important topics, especially for this day and age, and having the opportunity to learn about them from experts was a real honor. Additionally, the practical work that we did during the project was fun, educational and satisfying. “This adventure we started at the bus station and I personally started with skeptical thoughts. I am traveling to a small village at the border of Serbia and Romania and I did not realize then that I was going to find a home in that Village. Learning about sustainability in nature is the perfect way of learning and making connections with people, and spending time with a campfire and music with some amazing young people that became your family is my perfect idea of summer.
