The project on media literacy and combating misinformation will take place in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Istanbul. To enable young people to play a greater role in society, to promote active citizenship, to encourage young people to be creative in society to enable them to become leaders, to ensure that they take an active role in civil society, to provide them with information and knowledge about media literacy, and experiences, encouraging digitalization, combating misinformation and provocations to ensure that they do so.
The ideal participants for this project are young people motivated to learn, grow, and forge connections. Participants must demonstrate a readiness to foster personal leadership and inclusion. They should recognize the importance of leadership in creating positive change and be eager to cultivate their leadership skills.
It is created for young people from 18 years who are eager to extend their knowledge, upgrade their skills, and broaden their horizons. Participants must come from the following countries:
Participants must be able to communicate in English. Participants must attend all training sessions and actively participate in them.
The participants who take part in the first phase of the project in Sarajevo will also get the opportunity to participate in the second phase in Istanbul from 14.07. to 21.07.
During the project, participants will be hosted in a hotel with different rooms (divided by gender) and 2-3 participants will stay at the room. The facility will be equipped with all necessary technical facilities. We also ask you to bring personal things such as your shampoo, gel, etc. All costs related to accommodation and food (3 meals per day; breakfast, lunch & supper, warm drinks in coffee breaks) will be covered by the project budget.
If there will be vegetarian or vegan participants we will also provide food for them depending on their eating choices, diets or special needs.
