“Let me tell you about my adventure in Riga, Latvia, where I participated in an Erasmus project that combined my love for art and my passion for social justice. It was like a match made in heaven, but with a much better soundtrack! The project focused on using art to amplify the voices of minorities, and boy, did we do that in style! We explored different forms of art, from painting to music to dance and let our creative juices flow while learning about the challenges that minorities face in our societies. The team that facilitated the program were like art ninjas, guiding us with their expertise and encouraging us to express ourselves in ways we never thought possible. And the best part? We got to meet so many amazing people from all over Europe who shared our love for art and our commitment to social justice. The cherry on top was the exhibition of our artwork, where we showcased our collective masterpiece which was bursting with color and meaning. It was an incredible experience to see how our art not only reflected our individual experiences but also sent a powerful message of inclusivity and unity. Overall, this Erasmus project was an unforgettable experience that combined fun, creativity, and social activism in a way that made my heart sing.” – Hanan Alić

„I am glad to have the opportunity to share my experience of traveling to Riga through the Erasmus project with the support of the BRAVO organization. My trip to Riga was an amazing experience that will remain in my memory forever. Thanks to the BRAVO, I had the opportunity to meet new people, explore beautiful cities and learn a lot about new cultures. BRAVO organization was extremely helpful in all aspects of the trip, everything was perfectly organized. I got the opportunity to visit many cultural and historical sights of Riga, such as the old town, the cathedral of St. Petra and restaurants with local food. I also looked at the problem of minorities and migrants from the other side and learned something else. In addition, I participated in many social activities organized, such as dinners with local residents, sports activities and trips to the surrounding towns. Participating in this Erasmus project was an extraordinary experience that allowed me to meet students from other countries and gain insight into their cultures and lifestyles. Meeting new people was a very interesting and useful experience. None of this would have been possible without BRAVO and their support, they were ready to help at any part of the day.“ – Sumeja Haračić
„I will be telling you about the amazing experience of being involved in an Erasmus+ project in Riga, Latvia, named “Art for Future”. We talked about the struggles of minorities and refugees and expressed our feelings through art. The program was a safe space where people from different backgrounds (all around Europe and more) shared stories and ideas through workshops and lectures.
This project had a big impact on me and left me feeling empowered to make a difference in my community. It was inspiring to see people come together and address important social issues through art and dialogue. Overall, I am extremely grateful for this experience as it broadened my perspective and taught me how to be an active and engaged citizen. I believe the lessons and connections made during this project will stay with me for a long time.“ – Mak Nizamić
