#BRAVO #ErasmusDays 2022

#ErasmusDays 2022 took place on the 13, 14 and 15th of October throughout Europe and also the world! This international celebration is based on a very simple concept: over three specific days, promote European values, mobility benefits and Erasmus+ project results, in order to boost visibility for citizens, stakeholders, media and policy makers.

Last year, 5670 events were organized in 67 countries during the #ErasmusDays.

In 2022, the #ErasmusDays are organized in line with the 35 years anniversary and the European Year of Youth, with the tagline “Sharing our European values with the youth of today and tomorrow: for 35 years now and many more to come”.

On Thursday October 13^th, our very own BRAVO Member Sanin Bilić along with other BRAVO Members, presented to the students at International Burch University (IBU) in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina in cooperation with IBU’s International Operations Projects Office. First, an overview of BRAVO and the work we do was presented. The students were provided with vital information such as how to join, the impact we make, and the intensiveness of the Erasmus+ projects we have previously implemented/are currently implementing. Our key principles: tolerance, democracy, diversity, voluntariness, and openness were also discussed and examples were given.

BRAVO has, for several years, served as one of the most successful platforms in Bosnia and Herzegovina for engaging more than several hundred members in learning about and experiencing Erasmus+ and other European programs. This is why we put our heart and souls into the work we do every day as we firsthand can see the impact we are making within our local, national, and international communities.

Within our allotted timeframe, we believe we presented our Erasmus+ work to a tee to the students and we cannot wait to see if any of the students are ready to take the first step to #maketheworldwonder.

Following our BRAVO presentation, other local organizations presented themselves as well and the floor was opened up to the students for a Q&A session.

WHAT IS ERASMUS+?

Erasmus+ is the EU’s programme to support education, training, youth and sport in Europe.

It has an estimated budget of €26.2 billion. This is nearly double the funding compared to its predecessor programme (2014-2020).

The 2021-2027 programme places a strong focus on social inclusion, the green and digital transitions, and promoting young people’s participation in democratic life.

It supports priorities and activities set out in the European Education Area, Digital Education Action Plan and the European Skills Agenda. The programme also

supports the European Pillar of Social Rights
implements the EU Youth Strategy 2019-2027
develops the European dimension in sport
