BRAVO is working hard to prepare for the upcoming youth exchange in Bosnia and Herzegovina in November 2024 for the Second Chance Project! From November 18 to November 26, 25 young people from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Egypt, Sweden, and Albania will gather in Sarajevo to continue learning about the fashion industry and to expand their practical skillsets in a collaborative environment!

The project aims to promote sports and emphasize their significance in daily life, fostering social inclusion and well-being for people of all ages, genders, and backgrounds. It uses sports to educate children and youth, instill good values, and train sports workers and coaches. Workshops, events, and programs will use sports as informal education tools to advocate for changes in public policy and legislation. The project will target various populations to highlight the importance of physical activity in public health policies.

For this project, chess—a game or sport played all over the world for centuries—will be used as a common language among participants. Through various games, activities, workshops, and communicative exchanges, we will address current societal issues and values. The goal is for young participants to exchange ideas, design methods for inclusion and diversity, and propose creative solutions to combat situations of inequality and discrimination.

Imagine a gathering of enthusiastic young people in the stunning city of Vlorë, Albania. That’s exactly what happened during a recent Training of Trainers (ToT) event as part of the “Engage, Connect and Empower Youth for a Sustainable Green Future – Fast Forward” project. Supported by Erasmus+ and co-funded by the European Commission, this project brought together a group committed to making our planet a greener, more sustainable place.

We are aware that our planet has been subjected to serious damage that we have inflicted over the years. The environmental situation has deteriorated to the point where it can no longer be ignored. It is now crucial to recognize that every action, no matter how small, can make a difference.

I am very grateful to BRAVO for giving me such an opportunity to meet new people and embrace our cultural differences through dancing. Besides learning about cultures and dances from different countries, I have managed to meet great people and make lifelong friendships. I will remember this project for wonderful people, exquisite dances and beautiful Vienna.”

Disasters in the realities of the world affect nations and countries from various perspectives. We encounter many different disasters in our living spaces, impacting societies psychologically, socially, economically, and socioculturally. In addition to natural disasters, societies face various human-made disasters, such as those caused by nuclear, biological, and industrial accidents, as well as issues involving immigrants, displaced people, and wars.

“Global Village” is a European Solidarity Corps project designed to give at least two people from the same country the chance to engage in volunteering activities in Bulgaria for 1-2 months. We are an NGO with primary goals in the field of youth development and support of social needs. Our main objectives are to support and finance training and initiatives for specific groups in society, including young people, ethnic minorities, disadvantaged persons, young single parents, orphans, and others.
