ABOUT THE ACTIVITY

Sports organizations play a crucial role in shaping sports culture and promoting equality in sports. However, in many of these organizations, women are underrepresented in managerial and decision – making positions. The aim of this round table is to explore the challenges women face in attaining high – level positions in sports organizations and to discuss ways to enhance their involvement and contribution in these key roles.

The panel will include leading experts in sports management, female athletes, gender equality activists, and other relevant stakeholders who will share their experiences, perspectives, and proposals for change. We anticipate an engaging and productive discussion that will contribute to a better understanding and promotion of women’s inclusion in sports management.

This roundtable will explore the complexities surrounding the issue of women’s leadership in sports. It aims to highlight systemic challenges and offer actionable strategies for advancement. By bringing together diverse voices from within the sports community, including seasoned professionals, athletes, and advocates, we hope to create a platform for meaningful dialogue and tangible solutions.
