“Global Village” is a European Solidarity Corps project designed to give at least two people from the same country the chance to engage in volunteering activities in Bulgaria for 1-2 months. No Nation Fashion is a creative program that started in the TRCs of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was first started during the COVID-19 pandemic as a way for migrants to design and customize masks. Over time, it grew into a full clothing design project, where migrants can create, sew, and showcase their own unique fashion pieces.

Considering the significant impact that climate change has on the future of the next generations, environmental education should be a priority in youth work worldwide. Beyond gaining knowledge about the environment, recycling, and individual ecological footprints, it is crucial to address the emotional consequences of climate change and focus on real-life solutions.

“Every Erasmus+ project is a unique and memorable experience. Through BRAVO BiH I had the ecstatic opportunity to participate in the training course “ICE-CREAM for social entrepreneurship” in Abovyan, Armenia. Upon acknowledging my acceptance into the training course, I was filled with eager enthusiasm for its commencement; only to watch as time rapidly slipped away once the journey had begun.”

The importance and diversity of disasters vary by country.

The general objective of the project is to increase the employability of women between 18 and 30 years old from rural backgrounds, through the acquisition of digital communication skills, to be employed in the field of non-profit organizations. The consortium, after a careful analysis of needs carried out with the participation of stakeholders, has identified specific objectives functional to the achievement of the general purpose.

“The project includes an introductory training course on Living Library Methodology, followed by three months for participants to design and implement events in their communities. It culminates in a final evaluation meeting to reflect on experiences and lessons learned. The training involves 36 youth workers from the European Union (Netherlands, Greece, Portugal, and Romania) and neighboring countries (Armenia, Türkiye, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Palestine), engaging them in discussions, presentations, and field visits to develop their skills in organizing Living Library events.”

On Sunday, July 28, 2024, we held a competition called “Youth Entrepreneurial Ideas”. The event took place as part of the Nomad Fest on the beautiful Bjelašnica mountain. This unique festival brought together young entrepreneurs from the region and beyond, who had the opportunity to present their innovative ideas to a panel of experts and an audience. The contestants showcased exceptional creativity and enthusiasm, with teams from Bosnia and Herzegovina standing out the most, taking all three top places.

“I am very thankful to BRAVO for giving me an opportunity to learn about the importance of media literacy, its role and effects on society. In this project, we learned how to recognize misinformation from disinformation, fake news from truthful ones and how to find reliable sources. The knowledge I gained throughout this project will help me in the future to identify deceitful news.”

“The Youth Exchange “Eco Path” held from July 2-10 in Serbia was a completely new and wonderful experience for me. The days were filled with a lot of new knowledge, creative workshops, laughter, and reconnecting with nature. I had the opportunity to meet people from other countries, of different ages and mindsets and unite all our ideas into one unforgettable experience. I realized that every change starts with small steps and that little by little, we can make this world a more beautiful place.”

The Visual Thinking 4 You(th) project, has the general objective of promoting the social inclusion of dyslexic young people between 13 and 19 years old, through visual thinking, which consists in transmitting and exposing ideas through simple and easily recognizable images. Training of Trainers (ToT) in Vlorë, Albania: aims to enhance capacity building in the field of youth, benefiting non-formal learning providers, staff, youth, and key stakeholders, promoting climate change awareness, environmental digitalization, climate-oriented technologies, innovation, research, and partnerships to contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

U nedjelju, 14. 07. 2024., uz podršku organizacije BRAVO BiH , svečano je otvoren šestodnevni ljetni kamp za članove Huskies Basketball Academy Sarajevo. Kamp se održava na predivnoj lokaciji, Sportsko-rekreativnom centru Ajdinovići, gdje će članovi svakodnevno uživati u raznovrsnim aktivnostima i sadržajima.

On July 18th and 19th, the BRAVO office in Sarajevo hosted a special in-person training for the NURTURE project. Participants who were eager to improve their career counseling skills and learn how to become better mentors attended this two-day workshop, which will help advance the NURTURE project’s goals in the Western Balkans.

Guided by a consortium of experts in inclusive education, textile design, and entrepreneurship from Slovenia (Taka Tuka), Sweden (Drivhuset), Egypt (Galala University and Fashion & Design Center), Bosnia and Herzegovina (BRAVO), Albania (Albanian Skills and Albania Craftsman Education), 25 young people are working together to learn about sustainable practices in the fashion industry and to enhance both their entrepreneurial and upcycling skills. These experts serve as mentors who provide support, guidance, and feedback to the participants throughout the development process.
