Development of Digital Platforms and Applications for the Revival of Traditional Sports and Games
Key outputs of the project include the development of a web-based digital platform, an inventory of traditional sports and games in Europe, research and documentation of oral stories about traditional sports and games, an educational mobile game/application for teaching traditional sports and games digitally, video promotion films, an online map showcasing traditional sports and games events and organizations worldwide, a digital mentor/trainer module, and a toolkit for the revival of traditional sports and games. The toolkit will cover various topics such as career development, youth support, athlete and trainer skills, cooperation with universities and federations, academic integration of traditional sports and games, and inclusion in school curriculums.
By creating this digital platform and producing valuable resources, the TRADITIONAL SPORT AND GAMES project aims to preserve and promote traditional sports and games that are at risk of being forgotten. It fosters cultural preservation, social inclusion, innovation, and the exchange of knowledge and collaboration among organizations working in this field. The project emphasizes the importance of digitalization and harnessing technology to ensure the sustainability and widespread dissemination of traditional sports and games.

Transnational Project Meeting in Antalya – ”Traditional Sport and Games’’
On June 27th, partners from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Lithuania, and Turkey gathered in Antalya for the final transnational meeting of the Erasmus+ project “Developing Academic Educational Tools and Methods of Traditional Sport and Games for Youth.” As the project concludes this year, this meeting marked the last gathering of the involved organizations.

LTT3 – Development of Digital Platforms and Applications for the Revival of Traditional Sports and Games – Granada, Spain
After successfully implementing the kick-off meeting and two LTT activities as part of the project ”Development of Digital Platforms and Applications for the Revival of Traditional Sports and Games”, partners gathered in Granada, Spain to implement the third LTT. From 1st till 5th of October LTT3 was held.
LTT2 – Development of Digital Platforms and Applications for the Revival of Traditional Sports and Games – Antalya, Turkiye
As part of the project ‘’ Development of Digital Platforms and Applications for the Revival of Traditional Sports and Games’’, the second LTT was implemented in Antalya, Turkiye with the support of the Turkish National Agency. The second LTT shifted the main focus to the creation of digital platforms, the gathering of best practices, the creation of digital informational materials, digitalization, and the differences between digital education and information.

After successfully implementing kick-off meeting of the project ” Development of Digital Platforms and Applications for the Revival of Traditional Sports and Games”, next on the row were Learning training teaching activities. The first LTTT was held in Istanbul, Turkiye. On this mobility, partners talked about social advertising aimed at intercultural dialogue promotion.

KICK-OFF MEETING – Development of Digital Platforms and Applications for the Revival of Traditional Sports and Games
In the period from 3rd till 8th February, the director of BRAVO, Ismail Šehić, attended a kick-off meeting in Istanbul, Turkiye, of the aforementioned project. Partners at this meeting talked about the development of digital platforms and applications for the revival of traditional sports and games, as well as the promotion of tradition through sport and traditional games. With this meeting, we launched a project that would last for the upcoming two years.
