FAST FORWARD

Over the course of the exchange, 30 participants discussed important topics like climate change, reducing waste, and making eco-friendly choices. Through group activities and discussions, they learned about how climate change affects the world and explored simple ways to live more sustainably in their daily lives. Through this project, young people gained useful knowledge and skills to work towards a greener future.

Imagine a gathering of enthusiastic young people in the stunning city of Vlorë, Albania. That’s exactly what happened during a recent Training of Trainers (ToT) event as part of the “Engage, Connect and Empower Youth for a Sustainable Green Future – Fast Forward” project. Supported by Erasmus+ and co-funded by the European Commission, this project brought together a group committed to making our planet a greener, more sustainable place.

In honor of the upcoming Zero Waste Week that takes place annually during the first full week of September, we bring you tips on how to be more mindful of our surroundings. We are aware that our planet has been subjected to serious damage that we have inflicted over the years. The environmental situation has deteriorated to the point where it can no longer be ignored. It is now crucial to recognize that every action, no matter how small, can make a difference.
