The project aims to promote sports and emphasize their significance in daily life, fostering social inclusion and well-being for people of all ages, genders, and backgrounds. It uses sports to educate children and youth, instill good values, and train sports workers and coaches.

The project “Engage, connect and empower youth for a sustainable green future” is focused on two European Youth Goals: quality learning and sustainable green Europe. It aims at implementing a creative strategy in terms of capacity building for the new generation actually facing the problems of tomorrow related to environment degradation, climate change, and sustainability issues.

“The youth exchange in Graz on the occasion of the Urban Art Festival Styria was a truly freeing experience of days filled with creativity, dance and laughter. It is really a difficult task to capture such an enriching and creatively fulfilling exchange in just a few paragraphs. Upon our arrival, we engaged in ice-breaker activities to get to know each other, followed by two full days of exploring the city of Graz.”

The Antalya Turkuaz Youth Association is a dynamic and impactful organization committed to empowering the youth of Antalya. Through a diverse array of programs and activities, the association fosters personal growth, cultural awareness, and active community engagement.

From the 9th to the 12th of September 2024, the Visual Thinking 4 Youth training course took place in Tirana, Albania. This event brought together youth workers from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Italy, North Macedonia, Montenegro, and Albania with the shared goal of developing learning methodologies specific to working with young individuals with dyslexia

This soft skills training is designed for young people who are already freelancers, entrepreneurs, digital nomads (or those aspiring to become digital nomads), and those who wish to improve their entrepreneurial mindset. A one-day hackathon may be included in the program depending on the group composition, participant needs, and existing dynamics.

BRAVO is working hard to prepare for the upcoming youth exchange in Bosnia and Herzegovina in November 2024 for the Second Chance Project! From November 18 to November 26, 25 young people from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Egypt, Sweden, and Albania will gather in Sarajevo to continue learning about the fashion industry and to expand their practical skillsets in a collaborative environment!

For this project, chess—a game or sport played all over the world for centuries—will be used as a common language among participants. Through various games, activities, workshops, and communicative exchanges, we will address current societal issues and values. The goal is for young participants to exchange ideas, design methods for inclusion and diversity, and propose creative solutions to combat situations of inequality and discrimination.

Imagine a gathering of enthusiastic young people in the stunning city of Vlorë, Albania. That’s exactly what happened during a recent Training of Trainers (ToT) event as part of the “Engage, Connect and Empower Youth for a Sustainable Green Future – Fast Forward” project. Supported by Erasmus+ and co-funded by the European Commission, this project brought together a group committed to making our planet a greener, more sustainable place.

In honor of the upcoming Zero Waste Week that takes place annually during the first full week of September, we bring you tips on how to be more mindful of our surroundings. We are aware that our planet has been subjected to serious damage that we have inflicted over the years. The environmental situation has deteriorated to the point where it can no longer be ignored. It is now crucial to recognize that every action, no matter how small, can make a difference.

“This was my first youth exchange and it was an amazing experience indeed. I am very grateful to BRAVO for giving me such an opportunity to meet new people and embrace our cultural differences through dancing. Besides learning about cultures and dances from different countries, I have managed to meet great people and make lifelong friendships. I will remember this project for wonderful people, exquisite dances and beautiful Vienna.”

This youth exchange aims to increase awareness and understanding of the ethical aspects of artificial intelligence (AI) among young people. Participants will be empowered to become responsible and engaged citizens in the digital age, promoting ethical practices in AI. Knowledge will be shared through creative videos on social media to reach European Union citizens.
