On October 20, 2025, partners of the XXI Adults Project gathered online to review progress and align next steps in the preparation of the Training Guide (TG) and the Implementation Plan (IP). The meeting provided a constructive space for updates, open discussion, and planning ahead of key deadlines.

 

Progress on the Training Guide

The Training Guide will serve as a cornerstone resource for adults, educators, and managers, combining theoretical foundations, practical tools, and examples of best practices. It is structured around:

 

  • Introduction & Methodology – covering project goals, partners, surveys, and research findings.
  • Theoretical Part – an overview of adult education in Europe, XXI century challenges, and justifications for the chosen modules.
  • Modules – including descriptions, theoretical insights, and expected skills/competences to be gained by learners.
  • Best Practices – three good practices per module, each illustrated with contact details, photos, and short descriptions.
  • Approaches & Methodological Tools – with a focus on learning by doing, intergenerational learning, and other innovative approaches.

Responsibilities were allocated across partners:

  • Diputación (P1) – Methodological tools
  • FF (P2) – Theoretical part and overall structure
  • E-School (P3) – Creativity & Innovation module
  • NOVA (P4) – Research integration and survey results
  • Empoderar (P5) – Digital module
  • Institute (P6) – Inclusion module
  • BRAVO (P7) – Social & Intergenerational module

Progress on the Implementation Plan

The Implementation Plan will be hosted on a dedicated digital platform, similar in concept to the SEED platform. The platform will feature:

  • Main page with project title, logos, objectives, and introduction
  • Dedicated pages for each module with best practices, short descriptions, and checklists
  • filter function to allow searches by competence, target group, or practice tips

Discussion is ongoing regarding whether the filtering will be based on checklists/tips or competences/target groups. BRAVO will review existing good practices to identify common filters and ensure missing sections are added by partners.

 

Conclusion

The meeting confirmed steady progress across both the Training Guide and Implementation Plan. With clear deadlines and well-distributed responsibilities, partners remain on track to deliver a high-quality guide and digital platform that address the challenges of adult education in the 21st century.
