The project is designed for active youngsters and group leaders from 6 countries to raise awareness about misinformation and develop critical thinking and media literacy skills. Activities foreseen are in the frame of: youth projects; civic activism; engagement with the local community.

On Friday, May 23rd, BRAVO had the pleasure of welcoming 24 students in International Relations and International Development from the University of Birmingham to our office in Sarajevo. The visit offered an opportunity for the students to gain deeper insight into the mission and work of BRAVO as a leading NGO in the region.

The project aims to empower youth workers by equipping them with the tools and methods necessary to guide young people in developing transnational cooperation skills, sharing know-how, and building sustainable networks.

BRAVO, in cooperation with “Fondacija Poduzetnika u BiH” is announcing an open call for the online Youth Training “CINEBALK”. CINEBALK is a youth-focused initiative that uses cinema as a transformative tool to promote civic engagement, social inclusion, and cultural dialogue across the Balkans.

As part of a vibrant fair event, BRAVO BiH hosted a dynamic educational activity aimed at introducing young people to exciting job opportunities within the non-governmental sector. This impactful initiative was launched under the NURTURE project, which focuses on building bridges between youth and NGOs in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

BRAVO, in cooperation with “Fondacija Poduzetnika u BiH” is announcing an open call for the Erasmus+ LTT 1 – FutureCraft: Empowering Visionaries for Tomorrow’s Dynamic Landscape in Gebze, Kocaeli, Türkiye. This project aims to equip young entrepreneurs with futures literacy, a critical competence that enables businesses to build resilience against uncertainty.

BRAVO is announcing an open call for the Erasmus+ Youth Exchange “EcoLeaders” in Loutraki, Greece. EcoLeaders aims to empower young people to lead sustainable change, combining environmental action with mental resilience. Through non formal learning and intercultural exchange, participants build skills to support their communities.

BRAVO participated in the fourth edition of Maker Faire Sarajevo, held on May 31 and June 1, 2025, at the historic Vila Braun. This event brought together innovators, educators, and creatives from across the country, celebrating the spirit of making and the fusion of technology, art, and education.

Spend nine fully-funded summer days in the “Innovative Futures” Youth Exchange turning creative sparks into real business ideas in Balatonfüred, Hungary. Through hands-on workshops, innovation challenges, and sunset brainstorming by the lake, you’ll gain the entrepreneurial mindset to thrive in tomorrow’s job market.

The Train4Family transnational project meeting took place on May 28–29, 2025, in Murcia, Spain, bringing together partners from seven countries : Bulgaria, Croatia, Italy, Slovenia, Spain, Turkiye and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Hosted by the University of Murcia, the meeting focused on reviewing project progress and planning future steps to promote sports activities for children with disabilities and their families.

In Bosnia and Herzegovina, the inclusion of children with disabilities in sports is highly important and holds great value for society. Such initiatives help break down social barriers and raise awareness about the abilities of every child. By creating more inclusive spaces, clubs and organizations ensures no child is left behind in the journey toward health, happiness, and equal opportunities.

“The people were open minded, tolerant and from so many different backgrounds. The discussions were real, sometimes challenging and difficult, but coordinators were there to keep everything in line. I came home with new knowledge, new connections, and a broader perspective.”

We are happy to announce the participants selected to represent BRAVO and Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Youth Exchange “The Creative and Cultural Youth Exchange”, which will take place from August 19th to August 25th, 2025, in Graz, Austria. This inspiring project is hosted by Future Icons and proudly supported by BRAVO as the sending organization.

On May 10th, BRAVO organized a local event in the Grand Meeting Hall of Vitez Municipality to promote the Youth4Values project and foster dialogue around youth engagement and European values. The event gathered more than 30 participants and featured active collaboration with local NGOs, including BZK “Preporod” Vitez and the Center for Youth Education Travnik.

“This youth exchange was definitely the best of the three Erasmus+ projects I have attended. It felt different for many reasons, mostly because I grew professionally more than in the others. I had the chance to explore myself through the 8 competences, which are very important for us.”

On May 21st, 2025, the BRAVO team proudly took part in the IUS Job Fair 2025, hosted by the International University of Sarajevo. This event brought together over 35 companies and organizations from diverse sectors.

As part of the Nurture – Nurturing the world can be a job project, BRAVO (Bosnian Representative Association for Valuable Opportunities) proudly took part in a local Job Fair, designed as an educational activity to help young people explore career opportunities and better understand today’s job market.
