Friday 22nd March, our H.A.N.D. volunteer Anne Sophie Laurence Phetsarath had the honor of being invited by the women of the elderly center for a private exhibition of Bosnian painting at the Saint Anthony Franciscan Monastery. This exhibition explored the intersection between Art and Bosnia and offers a rare glimpse of the artists working methods and invites us to take time to look, offering intimate insights into their artistic relationship and differing creative processes.

ESC Humanitarian Aid project – “H.A.N.D.” – Humanitarian Aid for the Needs of Development aims to fulfill the needs of society while offering an opportunity for participants to contribute to the community. Volunteers will be offered an opportunity to immerse themselves in the lifestyle of Bosnia and Herzegovina, all while participating in volunteer endeavors with a focus on humanitarian efforts.

Volunteers will have a chance to experience life in Bosnia and Herzegovina while engaging in volunteering activities with a humanitarian character. During this two-month program, participants will engage in a variety of activities, including volunteering in migration camps, an elderly center, a kindergarten, and a center for children with autism.
