BRAVO BiH

The project was a wonderful experience. It broadened my perspective on conservation and environmental protection.

Something I would highlight as a particularly valuable experience is meeting people from different cultures and traditions. I believe that only in this way can we improve our understanding, break down prejudices, and become better members of our community. Through workshops and practical activities, I also gained new knowledge about sustainable development and the concrete steps we can take to reduce our negative impact on the environment.

The exchange of ideas with people from different parts of the world enriched my experience, as I heard firsthand about the challenges they face in their own communities. I connected with people who share similar interests, which serves as one of the inspirations for future projects. I believe that this type of networking is crucial for creating long-term change. This project further motivated me to actively engage in my community and work on preserving nature at the local level.– Amra Kurtić

Participating in the Sustainable Impact 2 project was an incredibly enriching experience for me. It deepened my understanding of sustainable practices and how they can be implemented in real-world scenarios. The collaborative environment and hands-on approach not only enhanced my professional skills but also inspired me to pursue sustainability-focused initiatives in my career. The best part was when we learned about the use of digital tools and social marketing to have our voices digitally heard. Additionally, the project provided valuable networking opportunities with like-minded individuals, fostering a sense of community. I left the experience feeling more confident in my ability to contribute to sustainable development efforts.– Harun Smajić

Participating in the Sustainable ImPact 2 project in the Czech Republic was an incredibly educational and impact full experience. The program was serious in its approach, providing valuable insights into sustainability, which I will certainly apply in my local community. The creative workshops were particularly engaging, turning “waste” into practical solutions.

My favorite session was creating bee wax wraps, which emphasized the importance of reducing plastic waste in everyday life. The group dynamic was excellent, with everyone contributing in meaningful ways and sharing valuable perspectives. I am grateful to have been part of such a significant initiative, and I am confident the lessons learned will resonate long after the project has ended.

I am extremely grateful to BRAVO for giving me the opportunity to participate in such an incredible project. This is my first international project where I had the chance to learn a lot about sustainability and its impact on our lives as well as on our future. I have gained valuable knowledge that will aid in my personal development and everyday life. I am also thankful for the opportunity to meet mentors, other project members, and to experience and learn about diverse cultures. Everyone treated each other with kindness and respect, which is crucial in events like these.

I believe this project has significantly contributed to my professional growth, helping me improve my skills in online content presentation, public speaking, creative writing, drawing, and presenting, as well as developing many green skills. It has been a truly wonderful experience, and I hope to have more opportunities to participate in similar projects. I would highly recommend everyone to apply for such opportunities.

For me personally the project „Sustainable Impact 2“ was a refreshing experience, the facility where it took place is surrounded by a beautiful forest and landscapes as a reminder what we could loose if we proceed living the way we live as a species. I came back from the project more aware of the problems we are facing as mankind and as Bosnians in particular, although nowadays if we just look around it will become so evident. Waste all around from overconsumption, plastic bottles and bags in our beautiful forests and rivers, air pollution during winter times, deforestation, droughts and forest fires. It’s clear that we must take urgent action and embrace a more sustainable, holistic way of living. My initial motivation for joining the project was to learn about permaculture and other sustainable systems to better coexist with nature and protect it. Now, I’ve gained valuable tools and experience that will help me lead a more sustainable life. – Adin Hujdur
