Empowering Human Dignity of EU & WB Youth (EHDEU&WBY) is a three-year online exchange for young people (ages 18–30) from Belgium, Spain, Croatia and from Albania, Kosovo, Bosnia & Herzegovina. It runs in six rounds (2023–2025) and mixes five online activity types to build dialogue, critical thinking, media literacy, and leadership. The goal is to reach 500+ young people, with at least 250 who face extra barriers.
What will we do? (five activity types)
- Academy for Youth Leaders & Youth Workers — live online workshops to build soft skills for leadership.
- Certified Training Program (CTP) — small-group readings and discussions on human dignity and EU values.
- Hybrid Projects — join partners’ in-person events online (e.g., summer schools, youth conferences).
- Critical Thinking & Media Literacy — trainings to check sources and spot misinformation.
- Intercultural Talks — youth-led cultural evenings with music, films, and stories.
After running these, the team will publish a free Manual on new ways to do non-formal online learning in intercultural settings.
Why does it matter?
The project matches the Erasmus+ Virtual Exchanges goals: it connects EU youth with peers in Western Balkans, adds online exchange to physical mobility, and builds media literacy, digital/soft skills, and EU values.
How many exchanges?
Across all partners, the plan includes 30 virtual exchanges over the life of the project.
In short:
Six rounds, five online activity types, 500+ participants (at least half with fewer opportunities), one open-access manual—all designed to help young people learn, lead, and connect across borders.
