Taking part in the Youth Exchange “Digital Wisdom” in Íscar, Spain was one of the most inspiring and unforgettable experiences of my life.
During the project, we have explored how digital tools can be used wisely and how technology connects people. I learned a lot about online safety, media awareness, and communication between young and older people, which really made me think about how we use technology every day.
Also, this experience made me realize that intergenerational learning is something that should be used more. This project was much more than just workshops and learning, it was about people, new friends, laughter and a lot of unforgettable moments. I met the most amazing participants from different countries and different cultures.
We danced together during intercultural nights, I can say that we became like a small family. Every single day-it was something new, new activites, new stories and new friendships. – Lamija Hadžimušić
This experience taught me not only digital wisdom, but also emotional wisdom — to be open, kind, and curious. I came home with new friends, new knowledge, and a heart full of gratitude. Like I said many times during this project, maybe we came from different countries, we have different land, but we all share one same heart full of love.
I am writing this testimonial to describe my experience in Erasmus Youth Exchange Program „Digital Wisdom“ which was held in Iscar, Spain. Personally, Spain left deep impression on me. Especially two cities Salamanca and Valladolid that we visited as a part of the project.
The topic of this program was in tune with presents challenges posed by modern technology. One of those challenges is digital literacy of the elderly people who seem to struggle to keep up with technology.
Our main project task was to examine the level of digital literacy of the elderly people living in the nursing home and to teach them how to use certain technologies that might ease their everyday life, such as whatsapp application. Some of them showed solid digital skills and some needed assistance. In general, elderly people lack digital skills and interest in acquiring those skills. In order to help them bridging technological gap, we have to invest more in digital skill education.
In the end, this project was great opportunity for me to get to know Spain culture and people, and culture of other International participants of the project through organized cultural nights. I appreciate the opportunity given to me and looking forward to more. – Emina Buljubašić
Taking part in the Erasmus+ project was my first experience with this kind of international program, and I can honestly say it is something I would definitely do again.
From the very beginning, I felt welcomed and included by everyone involved. During the project, I met many new friends from different countries, and we quickly created a strong bond through teamwork and shared experiences.
The main topic of our project was Digital Wisdom, which I found to be very interesting and important for today’s world. In a time when technology plays such a big role in our daily lives, I believe that raising awareness about digital responsibility and critical thinking online is essential.
One of my favorite parts of the program were the amazing one day trips to Salamanca and Valladolid. Those experiences allowed me to truly feel the spirit and culture of Spain, its history, people, and the atmosphere.
This project had a very positive impact on me. It helped me grow both personally and socially, and it made me feel more confident and open-minded. I truly felt happy and proud to be part of such an amazing team, and I will always remember this experience as one of the best in my life. I would also like to thank BRAVO organization for giving me the opportunity to be part of this project, it was truly an unforgettable experience. – Emin Hamzić
Participating in this project in Spain was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. This Erasmus+ project was my first international youth exchange, and everyone I’ve met was very welcoming. I’ve always felt included in all activities, and I believe my friendships with some people will last for a long time.
The project was held in a beautiful town of Iscar, a small but charming town in the province of Valladolid. Walking through the streets, visiting the castle on the hill, and seeing how locals live gave me a real taste of Spanish culture.
The main topic of the project was the generational gap and digital inclusion, which made me realise how similar all our countries are when it comes to problems of the digital age. I learned a lot about teamwork, patience and communication and I enjoyed working with an international group of people, which also gave me an unique opportunity to improve my English.
The intercultural nights were my favourite parts because we shared our traditional foods, music and culture, which enabled us to present our country in front of international audience. This project helped me become more confident, and motivated me to stay involved in international projects. – Ahmed Hadžiomerović
