The primary aim of this project is to raise awareness about earthquakes and natural disasters, specifically targeting the younger generation. By focusing on this critical issue, the project seeks to equip young people with the knowledge and skills necessary to act appropriately during an earthquake. This proactive approach aims to save lives and protect property by building a community that is better prepared for such events. Ultimately, the project’s goal is to embed a sense of responsibility and preparedness in the youth, turning them into advocates for earthquake awareness within their own communities.
The project has several key goals, including empowering young participants to become local leaders in earthquake preparedness. By providing them with practical and theoretical training, such as first aid and simulations, the project aims to foster a more conscious and responsible mindset. Additionally, the project strives to promote personal growth and cultural understanding among participants, who come from diverse backgrounds. Through discussions and interaction, they will develop empathy and tolerance for different identities, challenging their own prejudices. Finally, the project aims to foster a sense of active European Citizenship by encouraging participants to engage in discussions on equality, justice, and human rights.
